Percutaneous pedicle screw internal fixation in the treatment of osteoporotic thoracolumbar burst fracture
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy of percutaneous pedicle screw internal fixation in the treatment of osteoporotic thoracolumbar burst fracture.Methods The 40 patients with osteoporotic thoracolumbar burst fractures were treated with percutaneous pedicle screw internal fixation.The surgical conditions,pain VAS,ODI score,and imaging indicators were recorded.Results All patients were followed up for 12-26(19.85±3.25)months.The operation time was 35-70(58.09±17.65)min,the intraoperative blood loss was 20-32(26.67±5.15)ml,the postoperative ambulation time was 4-8(6.89±1.67)d,and the hospital stay was 6-13(7.78±1.86)d.At 7 d,6 months,and 12 months after surgery,the pain VAS and ODI score showed a gradually decreasing trend(P＜0.05),and the kyphotic Cobb angle,kyphotic angle of thoracolumbar segment were all smaller than those on 1 d be-fore surgery(P＜0.05),and the ratio of the anterior edge height of the injured vertebra was larger than that on 1 d before surgery(P＜0.05);at 12 months after surgery,the kyphotic Cobb angle was further decreased,compared with 6 months after surgery(P＜0.05),and the ratio of the anterior edge height of the injured vertebra,kyphotic angle of thoracolumbar segment had no statisticallly significant differences,compared with 6 months after surgery(P＞0.05).Conclusions Percutaneous pedicle screw internal fixation is safe and effective in the treatment of patients with thora-columbar burst fractures combined with osteoporosis.It can significantly relieve pain,improve functional status,and restore the morphology and structure of the vertebrae to a certain extent.关键词
