单、双侧经皮椎体成形术治疗骨质疏松性椎体压缩骨折的疗效比较
The clinical efficacy comparison of unilateral and bilateral percutaneous vertebroplasty in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebroplasty lumbar compression fracture

Abstract
Objective To compare the efficacy of unilateral and bilateral percutaneous vertebroplasty(PVP)in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebroplasty compression fractures(OVCF).Methods The 80 patients with OVCFs were divided into the unilateral PVP group(treated with unilateral PVP,40 cases)and the bilateral PVP group(treated with bilateral PVP,40 cases)based on the different surgical puncture approach.The surgical conditions,anterior edge vertebral height of the injured vertebrae,pain VAS,ODI,and postoperative complications of the two groups were compared.Results All patients were followed up for 6-12 months.The operation time,intraoperative blood loss,and bone cement injection volume in the unilateral PVP group were shorter(less)than those in the bilateral PVP group(P＜0.05),while there was no statistically significant difference in hospital stay between the two groups(P＞0.05).At 7 d and 6 months after surgery,the anterior edge vertebral height of the injured vertebrae,pain VAS,and ODI of both groups improved,compared with those before surgery(P＜0.05),and there were no statisti-cally significant differences for above data between the two groups(P＞0.05).The incidence of postoperative com-plications in the unilateral PVP group was lower than that in the bilateral PVP group(P＜0.05).Conclusions Both unilateral and bilateral PVP for the treatment of OVCF can significantly alleviate postoperative pain in patients and improve the functional status of the lumbar spine,demonstrating clear clinical efficacy.Compared with the bilat-eral approach,unilateral PVP has advantages in shortening the operation time,reducing intraoperative blood loss and the volume of bone cement injected.关键词
