生物合成红景天苷对肉鸭抗氧化能力、右心指数及肉品质的影响
Effects of biosynthetic salidroside on antioxidant capacity,right ventricular index,and meat quality of meat ducks

Abstract
This study was designed to verify the biological activity of biosynthetic salidroside and explore its effects on antioxidant indices,right ventricular index and meat quality of meat ducks.A total of 48 healthy one-week-old male Cherry Valley ducks were randomly divided into two groups,with three replicate cages per group and eight ducks per cage.Ducks in the control group were fed a basal diet,while the experimental group was supplemented with 20 mg/kg biosynthetic salidroside on the basis of the basal diet.The adaptation period lasted for 7 days,and the formal experimental period was 35 days.The results showed that the right ventricular index of meat ducks in the experimental group was extremely lower than that in the control group at the age of 7 weeks(P<0.01).At 4 weeks of age,the serum total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD)activity of meat ducks in the experimental group was extremely higher(P<0.01),and the contents of malondialdehyde(MDA)in serum and liver were extremely lower than those in the control group(P<0.01).At 7 weeks of age,the liver total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)and liver glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)activity of meat ducks in the experimental group were extremely higher(P<0.01),while the serum MDA content was extremely lower than that in the control group(P<0.01).In terms of meat color,the redness(a* value)and yellowness(b* value)of breast muscle in the experimental group were extremely lower than those in the control group(P<0.01),and the lightness(L* value)of breast muscle was significantly lower(P<0.05).Additionally,the b* value of leg muscle color in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).In conclusion,dietary supplementation with 20 mg/kg biosynthetic salidroside can effectively improve the antioxidant capacity of meat ducks and exert a positive effect on reducing cardiac load.关键词
