1例斗牛犬性发育异常病例的诊断与分析
Diagnosis and analysis of a case of abnormal sexual development in a Bulldog

Abstract
A 1.5-year-old French Bulldog with female external phenotype had a history of one estrus episode and vulvar hemorrhage,and was presented for elective ovariohysterectomy.Preoperative radiographic examination revealed a rudimentary os penis within the vulva,suggesting disorder of sex development(DSD).Chromosomal karyotyping was performed to identify the karyotype and sex chromosome constitution,and histopathological examination was conducted using tissue samples collected during surgery.An intact uterus was observed during sterilization surgery.Histopathology confirmed that bilateral gonads consisted of testicular and epididymal tissues,with no ovarian tissue identified.Chromosomal karyotype analysis yielded 78,XX,and no Y chromosome was detected.This study indicates that although the dog exhibited a female phenotype,its gonads were testicular tissue with a 78,XX karyotype,which meets the diagnostic criteria for 78,XX testicular DSD.关键词
