Exploring Potential Mechanism of TCM Prevention and Treatment of COPD Based on Mitochondrial Autophagy Mediated by PINK1/Parkin Pathway

Abstract
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)is a common disease with chronic airway inflammation as the main pathological manifestation,which seriously affects the quality of life of the patients and causes huge social and economic burden.In recent years,the studies have found that abnormal mitochondrial autophagy levels are closely related to the pathogenesis of COPD,and regulating mitochondrial autophagy levels has become a new research direction for the treatment of COPD.PINK1/Par-kin pathway is a key pathway mediating mitochondrial autophagy,and regulation of mitochondrial autophagy mediated by PINK1/Parkin pathway is of great significance for the prevention and treatment of COPD.TCM has good curative effect on COPD.The ex-isting studies have shown that traditional Chinese medicine regulates the level of mitochondrial autophagy mediated by PINK1/Parkin pathway in the treatment of COPD through different mechanisms of action.This article clarified the correlation between PINK1/Parkin pathway-mediated mitochondrial autophagy and the pathological mechanism of COPD,and reviewed the research progress of PINK1/Parkin pathway-mediated mitochondrial autophagy in the intervention of COPD by traditional Chinese medi-cine.The potential mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine regulating mitochondrial autophagy in COPD intervention was also discussed,aiming to provide new scientific research ideas for traditional Chinese medicine intervention in COPD and provide refer-ence for clinical medication of COPD in the direction of mitochondrial autophagy.关键词
