Abstract
Under the disease characteristics of osteoporosis,which include a long course,low quality of life,high incidence rate and high disability rate,and guided by the academic concept of"holistic regulation",Professor ZHAO Rong pioneered the"strengthening spleen,nourishing kidney and fortifying bones"acupuncture method.Based on the relationship between bones and Zang-Fu organs in traditional Chinese medicine and the pathogenesis of osteoporosis in modern medicine,this method focuses on harmonizing the Zang-Fu organs with a treatment approach emphasizing strengthening spleen,nourishing kidney and fortifying bones.The acuoints primarily selected are"Zusanli(ST36)-Shenshu(BL23)-Dazhu(BL11)",with the treatment targets or-ganized around"meridians/colateral vessels-skin regions/branch vessels".The overall therapeutic approach prioritizes"fine needles/warm needle acupuncture-skin needle/retained cupping",fully activating the meridian system function of"interiorly connecting Zang-Fu organs and exteriorly linking limbs and joints"to achieve comprehensive regulation of the skin,muscles,tendons,bones,Zang-Fu organs and overall health.Clinical observations and animal experiments have confirmed that the"strengthening spleen,nourishing kidney and fortifying bones"acupuncture method can effectively reduce pain,increase bone density,prevent fragility fractures and promote physical and mental well-being while improving quality of life.关键词
