Abstract
Surgery is the cornerstone of treatment for advanced ovarian cancer,and the rate of complete resection is an impor-tant prognostic factor.However,the optimal timing of surgery for advanced ovarian cancer remains controversial.Focusing on this clini-cal issue,this article reviews the results of phase Ⅲ randomized controlled trials,and proposes that precise pre-treatment evaluation,surgical quality control,specialized follow-up,and surveillance for recurrence are all crucial for both primary debulking surgery and interval debulking surgery after neoadjuvant chemotherapy,and are key to improving overall survival.关键词
