The Predictive Value of TRPS1 in Distant Metastasis After Breast Cancer Surgery

Abstract
Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the predictive value of Trichorhinophalangeal Syndrome Type 1(TRPS1)for distant metastasis after breast cancer surgery.Methods A population-based nested case-control design was used.Patients who developed distant metastasis in the postoperative breast cancer follow-up cohort were included in the metastasis group and those who did not develop metastasis were included in the non-metastasis group according to the principle of 1:1 pairwise matching,with a total of 60 pairs.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of TRPS1 in the specimens of the two groups of patients,analyze its difference between the two groups,and analyze its relationship with distant metastasis using Cox regression analy-sis.Results In the metastasis group,the immunohistochemical score of TRPS1 was higher than that in the non-metastasis group.ROC curve analysis showed that the immunohistochemical score of TRPS1>5.0 had predictive value for breast cancer metastasis(Se=61.67％,Sp=68.33％,AUC=0.669,P<0.001).Cox regression analysis revealed that increased TRPS1 expression was a risk indicator for breast cancer metastasis(HR=2.485,95％CI:1.074-5.751,P=0.033).Conclusion High TRPS1 expression is a risk indicator for distant metastasis after breast cancer surgery.When the immunohistochemical score of TRPS1 is>5.0,it has predictive value for dis-tant metastasis after breast cancer surgery.关键词
