A Review of Fourth and Fifth Generation District Heating Technologies in Europe
摘要
Abstract
This paper elaborates on the development status of the 4th and 5th generation district heating tech-nologies in Europe.The 4th Generation District Heating(4GDH)system is a low-temperature central heating system centered on decarbonization goals,which deeply integrates low-temperature renewable energy and smart energy systems.The 5th Generation District Heating and Cooling(5GDHC)system is a highly decentralized distributed bidirectional energy network catering to both heating and cooling demands,which uses ambient-temperature water(near ambient tem-perature)as the heat carrier.For decarbonization tar-gets,4GDH boosts the heating potential of renewable energy via low temperature and high efficiency,while 5GDHC features distributed layout to deliver high-performance simultaneous heating and cooling.Instead of replacing each other,4GDH and 5GDHC develop in parallel with complementary advantages.China shall reasonably draw lessons from European 4th and 5th generation district heating technologies based on domestic conditions,and develop clean and low-carbon heating systems suitable for national reali-ties.关键词
