Occupational safety of interventional radiology nurses:a visual analysis

Abstract
Objective To analyze the research hotspots and evolution trends regarding the occupational safety of interventional radiol-ogy nurses,and to provide a reference for optimizing occupational protection management and enhancing capacity building of nurse spe-cialists.Methods We searched databases including CNKI,Wanfang Data,VIP,PubMed,and Web of Science Core Collection for related literature from database inception to May 15,2026.Excel,VOSviewer,and CiteSpace were used for literature screening,thematic classification,keyword co-occurrence analysis,clustering,and burst-keyword analysis.Results A total of 902 articles were retrieved,of which 372 were included.The volume of relevant publications remained at a relatively high level from 2021 to 2025;the data for 2026 were as of May 15 and should not be interpreted as the full-year output.Research hotspots centered on occupational expo-sure and safety,specialist nursing and competency training,psychological stress and burnout,radiation protection and dose monitoring,and smart nursing and digital management.Conclusion Research on the occupational safety of interventional radiology nurses has ex-panded from traditional radiation protection to comprehensive occupational safety management.Future priorities include personal dose monitoring,closed-loop exposure management,psychological stress screening,burnout intervention,and specialist training,and opti-mizing nurse scheduling in light of procedural risk,historical dose,and workload.关键词
