Abstract
Objective:To analyze the malignant tumor incidence trend in the tumor registration areas of Taiyuan from 2011 to 2023,in order to provide a data foundation for formulating cancer prevention measures.Methods:Malignant tumor incidence data from the tumor registration areas of Taiyuan from 2011 to 2023 were extracted and stratified by sex.Incidence rates and average onset age,along with other indicators,were calculated.Joinpoint software was used to calculate the average annual percent change(AAPC)for trend analysis.Results:The incidence rate of malignant tumors in Taiyuan's tumor reg-istration areas showed an upward trend from 2011 to 2023(AAPC=2.71%,P<0.001).The increase in males was lower than that in females(AAPC=1.96%and 3.65%,respectively;P<0.001).For the age-standardized incidence rate by Chinese standard population,only females showed an upward trend(AAPC=1.76%,P=0.005).The incidence rates of malignant tumors in the 20～29,30～39,and 40～49 age groups showed significant upward trends(AAPC=6.51%,7.97%,and 3.24%,respectively;all P<0.05).The incidence rate in the age group of 80 years and above showed a de-creasing trend(AAPC=-4.16%,P=0.001).The mean age at diagnosis showed a decreasing trend(β=-0.705,P=0.007).The age-standardized proportion of incident cases among the population aged 60 years and above also showed a significant downward trend(AAPC=-1.21%,P=0.001).The age-standardized incidence rates of thyroid canc-er,colorectal cancer,cervical cancer,uterine corpus cancer,and ovarian cancer showed significant upward trends,while those of esophageal cancer,gastric cancer,and liver cancer showed significant downward trends.No statistically significant changes were observed for the remaining cancers.Conclusion:The incidence rate of malignant tumors in Taiyuan is increas-ing,and the age at onset is shifting to younger ages.These findings underscore the substantial challenge facing cancer pre-vention and control in the region.关键词
