瓜石汤治疗阴虚胃热型非肥胖型多囊卵巢综合征临床研究
Clinical study of Guashi decoction in the treatment of non-obese polycystic ovary syndrome of yin deficiency and stomach heat pattern

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of Guashi decoction in patients with non-obese polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)of yin deficiency and stomach heat pattern.Methods:A total of 92 patients with non-obese PCOS of yin deficiency and stomach heat pattern were selected.All participants were randomly assigned to the con-trol group and the research group by the random number table method,with 46 cases in each group.Both groups re-ceived basic lifestyle interventions.The control group was administered Diane-35 orally,while the research group re-ceived Guashi decoction in addition to the interventions given to the control group.The course of treatment for all groups was three menstrual cycles.Clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome scores,serum sex hormones,glucose metabolism markers,ovarian ultrasound findings,and adverse reactions were compared among the two groups.Results:The over-all effective rate in the research group was significantly superior to that in the control group(P＜0.05).The scores for irregular menstruation,dry mouth and throat,hot palms and soles,irritability and insomnia,dream-disturbed sleep and easy awakening,soreness and weakness of waist and knees,and tidal fever and night sweats in the research group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The levels of luteinizing hormone(LH),LH/follicle-stimula-ting hormone(FSH)ratio,and testosterone(T)in the research group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The levels of fasting plasma glucose(FPG),fasting insulin(FINS),and homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR)in the research group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The research group had lower ovarian volume and fewer antral follicles than the control group(P＜0.05).No statistically significant difference in overall incidence of adverse reactions was found among the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Guashi decoction is highly effective in the treatment of non-obese PCOS of yin deficiency and stomach heat pattern.It can markedly alleviate TCM syndrome,adjusts sex hormone levels and glucose metabolism,improves ovarian mor-phology,and is well-tolerated.关键词
