针刺联合药物治疗脾虚血燥型特应性皮炎的疗效观察
Observation on the efficacy of acupuncture plus medication for atopic dermatitis of spleen deficiency and blood dryness type

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture plus medication for atopic dermatitis(AD)of spleen deficiency and blood dryness type and its effect on blood eosinophil percentage and serum immunoglobulin E(IgE)levels.Method Sixty-two AD patients were randomized to control and experimental groups,with 31 cases in each group.The control group received conventional medication,and the experimental group received acupuncture in addition.The clinical efficacy,the eczema area and severity index(EASI)score,the dermatology life quality index(DLQI)score,the peak pruritus numerical rating scale(PP-NRS)score,blood eosinophil percentage and serum IgE levels were compared between the two groups.Result The total efficacy rate was 58.1%and 86.7%,respectively,in the control group and the experimental group with a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P＜0.05).After treatment,the EASI score,the DLQI score and the PP-NRS score decreased in the two groups(P＜0.05)and were lower in the experimental group than in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,blood eosinophil percentage decreased in the two groups(P＜0.05)with no statistically significant between-group difference(P＞0.05);serum IgE levels decreased in the two groups(P＜0.05)compared with before and were lower in the experimental group than in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture plus medication can markedly heighten the clinical efficacy,reduce the area and severity of skin lesions,relieve itching symptoms,improve the quality of life and decrease serum IgE levels in AD patients.关键词
