Abstract
This paper is based on the technological process of preparing manganese carbonate products from laterite nickel ore through hydrometallurgy.It analyzes the existence forms of manganese in each stage and its transformation laws.The research shows that manganese enters the solution in the form of Mn²⁺ during the high-pressure acid leaching stage.During the subsequent iron-aluminum removal and nickel-cobalt precipitation processes,most of it still migrates in a dissolved state,making effective separation difficult.Combining thermodynamic analysis with the potential-pH relationship,it is proposed that in the second-stage nickel precipitation process,by increasing the pH to 8.0-9.0 and introducing air,Mn²⁺can be oxidized into MnO₂ precipitate and discharged from the system in an open-circuit manner.This improved scheme can reduce the load in the extraction stage,reduce impurity interference,and provide a feasible process optimization idea for the wet production of manganese carbonate from laterite nickel ore and subsequent nickel-cobalt refining.关键词
