Abstract
The multi-tube top-blown converter is a type of copper matte impurity removal metallurgical furnace widely used in modern copper pyrometallurgy processes.A large-scale crude copper pyrometallurgical plant in the DRC employs a multi-tube top-blown continuous converter to process matte continuously transported from the smelting furnace through a connecting launder.This paper provides a brief analysis of the complex furnace conditions,specifically the"dry slag"phenomenon,encountered in the converter during the plant's production practices in recent years.The aim is to summarize and enhance experiential techniques for better guiding subsequent production practices.关键词
