Professor ZHANG Jingchun's Experience in Treating Chronic Heart Failure from Liver
摘要
Abstract
As the end stage symptom or a severe manifestation of various heart diseases,chronic heart failure is associated with high mortality and readmission rates,imposing a substantial burden on both society and individuals.Guided by the"treating diseases from liver"theory,Professor ZHANG Jingchun posits that the core pathogenesis of chronic heart failure lies in the failure of liver in governing free flow of qi.Its dynamic evolution follows the principle of"initiating with depression,progressing to blood stasis,and culminating in deficiency",leading to the intermingled abnormality of qi,blood,and water metabolism.Consequently,she establishes"regulating liver and activating blood,along with replenishing qi and draining water"as the core treatment principle.This is implemented in stages by soothing liver and regulating qi,soothing liver and activating blood,as well as tonifying liver and reinforcing original qi.Furthermore,this treatment is tailored to individual,seasonal,and geographical factors,forming a diagnostic and therapeutic system integrating principle-method-recipe-medicinal.In clinical practice,it effectively alleviates chronic heart failure symptoms and enhances patients' quality of life.关键词
