中文水平考试与日本中国语检定考试词汇丰富性比较
Lexical Richness Comparison of Chinese Proficiency Test and Japanese Test of Chinese Proficiency

Abstract
Six sets of Level 4 real examination papers of the Chinese Proficiency Test(HSK)and nine sets of Level 3 real examination papers of the Japanese Test of Chinese Proficiency were selected as research objects.The test corpora were compared and analyzed from four dimensions:lexical diversity,lexical density,lexical sophistication,and word frequency profile.It was found that both lexical diversity and lexical density of HSK Level 4 were higher than those of the Japanese Test of Chinese Proficiency Level 3,while the lexical sophistication of HSK Level 4 was lower than that of the Japanese Test of Chinese Proficiency Level 3.For word frequency profile,both tests were dominated by elementary-level vocabulary;However,HSK demonstrated a higher proportion of elementary and intermediate vocabulary,whereas the Japanese Test of Chinese Proficiency tested more advanced and out-of-syllabus words.Based on these findings,it was suggested that HSK should moderately incorporate new words and out-of-syllabus words,and that the Japanese Test of Chinese Proficiency should enhance lexical diversity and density.In Chinese language teaching,instructors should balance normative and open vocabulary,with a focus on contextual use of low-frequency words for Japanese learners.关键词
