From Subject Matter to Concept:Ecological Turn and Value Reconstruction of Ceramic Art with Plant Elements

Abstract
In the contemporary context of increasing ecological crisis,plant element ceramic art is undergoing a profound transformation from"subject matter selection"to"conceptual turn."From the perspective of ecological existential aesthet-ics,the author examines the"translation"mechanism by which plant elements transform from natural forms into artistic symbols of ecological concepts,and analyzes the reconstruction of ceramic art's aesthetic value and social function triggered by this transformation.The research shows that through morphological reconstruction,material dialogue,and contempora-ry transformation of Eastern views of nature,plant element ceramic art expands the thematic boundaries of ceramic art and provides an ecological art paradigm centered on"symbiosis."In this paradigm,artists shift from"describers"of nature to"participants"in ecological relationships,and clay is elevated from a passive creative medium to a"partner"with its own life rhythm.This turn provides intellectual resources with both introspective depth and poetic quality for contemporary art to respond to the ecological crisis.关键词
