Calculation Method for Equivalent Span of Docked Hybrid Girder Bridges
摘要
Abstract
Referring to the equivalent span method for conventional mid-span hybrid girders,models of butt-jointed hybrid girders with uniform and variable cross-sections were established,analyzed,and compared.Based on these analyses,a simplified calculation formula for the equivalent span increase factor of docked hybrid girders was proposed.Engineering applications verify that the proposed formula is concise and explicit,revealing that the equivalent span increase factor of butt-jointed hybrid girders is governed only by the mixing ratio and the line load ratio.The proposed formula can therefore be used to guide the design of the mixing ratio for butt-jointed hybrid girder bridges.关键词
