华北集约化生产区耕地健康评价研究-以河北某县域为例
Research on farmland health assessment in the intensive agricultural region of north China:a case study of a county in Hebei province

Abstract
As a major grain-producing region in China,the North China Plain faces significant challenges to soil health and crop productivity due to long-term intensive agricultural practices.This study,focusing on a typical county in the region,aimed to establish a soil health evaluation system suitable for intensively cultivated areas in north China.A total of 106 representative soil samples were systematically collected,and 25 physical,chemical,and biological indicators were measured.Methods such as cluster analysis and principal component analysis were employed to screen key indicators.Both linear and nonlinear scoring functions were used to calculate the soil quality index(SQI),enabling a comprehensive assessment of soil health.The results showed that:(1)A minimum data set(MDS)was established,comprising eight indicators:water-stable aggregates,pH,organic matter,total phosphorus,enzyme activity,microbial biomass nitrogen,plow layer thickness,and bulk density;(2)The mean SQI values calculated based on the MDS were 0.58(linear scoring)and 0.50(nonlinear scoring),indicating that the overall soil health in the study area was at a moderate level(Grade Ⅲ).The primary limiting factors included low organic matter content,shallow plow layer,high bulk density,and insufficient phosphorus availability;(3)A highly significant positive correlation was observed between the SQI values derived from the MDS and the total data set(R2≥0.50,P＜0.001),confirming the reliability and applicability of the MDS for soil health evaluation in the region.This study provided a scientific basis and technical support for soil quality monitoring and sustainable management in intensively farmed areas of north China.关键词
