Suitable ecological flow and its regulation in the lower tributaries of the Ganjiang River under hydrological alterations
摘要
Abstract
This study focuses on the suitable ecological flow of the hydraulic projects in the lower tributa-ries of the Ganjiang River and its optimization principles.Considering that the tributaries are greatly af-fected by the main channel,we firstly analyzed the suitable ecological flow of the main channel and its variation patterns using hydrological alteration analysis and statistical methods. Then, the suitable ecolog-ical flows and diversion ratios of the four tributaries were simulated by a hydrodynamic model. The eco-logical diversion ratios during the regulation period were further modified based on the historical diversion patterns and engineering operation schemes to achieve better regulation effects on the ecological environ-ment.The results indicate that the ecological flow diversion ratios of the four tributaries vary monthly with the upstream inflow.Under dry conditions, water mainly flows to the main tributary, the other three trib-utaries may face total cutoff in extreme dry months. After modification, the diversion ratios during dry season(e.g.,January)for the main, north, middle and south tributary are 0.65,0.05,0.12,and 0.18,respectively.After the optimized regulation of the hydraulic projects, regional hydrodynamic con-ditions are significantly improved, with the flow velocity in the south tributary increasing to 0.30 m/s.The research can provide technical support for the ecological regulation of multi-tributary plain rivers.关键词
