摘要
Abstract
In view of the low gain, limited coverage range and unsatisfied radiation efficiency of conventional antennas in UAV communication scenarios, this paper proposes a nonlinear active antenna array for unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)communication based on a coupled oscillator array in order to realize compact and energy-efficient airborne beam-controllable communication.Oscillator array coupling is realized by a T-type resistor network designed according to mutual injection locking theory, thereby boosting output power. Moreover, the antenna spacing is determined to resolve conflicts between the main lobe width and radiation efficiency of the patch antenna array.Compared with a single antenna array design, the designed array overcomes the limitations of narrow coverage and low gain of the patch antennas,as well as the low radiation efficiency of the antenna array.A 2×2 oscillator array is designed, resulting in an operating frequency range for the coupled oscillator array of 5.8~5.9 GHz;its output power is 2.25 mW,which represents a 7-fold increase compared to that of a single oscillator. When combined with the antenna array, the antenna beam coverage range reaches±30°,with an impedance bandwidth of 1.7%,a stable gain of 2.6 dB,and a radiation efficiency of 75.13%.This design provides a compact,energy-efficient,and high-flexible solution for UAV communication.关键词
