Advances in the application of hybrid outpatient and home-based cardiac rehabilitation model in patients after percutaneous coronary intervention

Abstract
Although percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)effectively achieves revascularization and saves lives,the long-term prognosis of postoperative patients remains challenging.Cardiac rehabilitation,a clinically effective and cost-effective secondary prevention strategy for coronary artery disease,can reduce the risk of recurrent myocardial infarction,decrease rehospitalization rates,and improve patients'quality of life and clinical prognosis.However,traditional center-based cardiac rehabilitation programs are faced with a global dilemma of low participation and adherence rates due to geographical,time,and financial constraints.In response,a hybrid outpatient and home-based cardiac rehabilitation model has emerged.This article elucidates the definition and connotation of hybrid outpatient and home-based cardiac rehabilitation model,introduces its basic components and common classifications,reviews its beneficial effects on exercise capacity,psychological status,quality of life,adherence,and participation in patients following PCI,and analyzes current challenges and future directions,aiming to provide reference for the application of this model in post-PCI patients.关键词
