Abstract
Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics and vaccination status of pertussis in Qingxiu District of Nanning City in 2024,so as to provide scientific evidence for improving prevention and control strategies. Methods Data on reported pertussis cases in Qingxiu District in 2024 were collected, and descriptive epidemiological methods were used to analyze the temporal, spatial, and population distribution characteristics,as well as immunization history. Results In 2024,a total of 758 pertussis cases were reported in Qingxiu District, with an annual incidence rate of 66.57/100 000.The temporal distribution showed a single peak, with the epidemic peak from March to July(559 cases,73.75%).Nanhu Subdistrict had the highest incidence rate(148.07/100 000).The population distribution was predominantly in the 5-<10 years age group(415 cases,54.75%),and the 6-year age group had the highest incidence rate(901.72/100 000).The male-to-female ratio was 1.26∶1.Occupations were mainly children in nursery care(37.73%),students(30.87%),and scattered children(26.65%).Immunization analysis showed that the full-course vaccination rate was 78.10%,and the median interval from the last dose to disease onset was 4.5 years. Conclusion The incidence of pertussis in Qingxiu District in 2024 is the highest in the past 10 years.School-age children are the main highrisk group, and waning vaccine-induced immunity is an important contributing factor.Strict implementation of the updated immunization schedule, intensified catchup vaccination and enhanced surveillance-early-warning for school-age children are recommended to effectively curb epidemic transmission.关键词
