Best evidence summary on the application effectiveness of fertility preservation decision aids in reproductive-aged female patients with cancer

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the best available evidence on the application of fertility preservation decision aids in reproductive-aged female patients with cancer,so as to provide evidence-based references for clinical healthcare profession-als.Methods Evidence-based nursing methods were adopted,and relevant literature on the use of fertility preservation decision aids in reproductive-aged female patients with cancer was systematically searched in Chinese and English databases,major national and international guideline repositories,and professional association websites.The search period ranged from database inception to June 2025.The methodological quality of the included literature was critically appraised,and the evi-dence was extracted,synthesized,and summarized.Results A total of 11 studies were included,comprising 2 clinical guidelines,4 systematic reviews,and 5 randomized controlled trials(RCTs).Based on the extracted evidence,35 best evi-dence statements were summarized across 6 domains:components of decision aids,development methods,implementation settings and timing,implementers and delivery modes,evaluation indicators and follow up time points,and adaptations for special populations.Conclusion This study summarizes the best available evidence regarding the application of fertility preservation decision aids in reproductive-aged female patients with cancer,which provides references for clinical healthcare professionals in the development and implementation of related assessment tools.Medical staff should apply the evidence appropriately by integrating specific clinical contexts and patients' fertility preferences,thereby improving patient satisfaction.关键词
