茴香秸秆的营养价值及其在肉羊养殖中的应用研究进展

Abstract
Fennel straw is a characteristic agricultural byproduct in Minqin County,Gansu Province,with abundant resources and rich nutrients and bioactive components,but its utilization rate of resource is generally low.This paper systematically reviewed the nutritional composition and bioactive components of fennel straw,and effects of applying fennel straw in diets for meat sheep.The content of crude protein(CP)and neutral deter-gent fiber(NDF)in fennel straw reaches 7.15%and 62.81%,which has a high value of feeding and can replace conventional roughage in the diets.The ecological mode of planting fennel straw can achieve high benefits of farming by improving the conversion efficiency of feed and the quality of mutton in meat sheep.Studies in the future should focus on 3 core areas including deepening the standardized technology of processing fennel straw in different areas of production,constructing precise modes of supplementing nutrient for meat sheep at various stages of physiology,and establishing a mechanism of full industry chain brand for fennel mutton to boost the development of the industry of fennel straw and the farming of meat sheep.It will provide a scientific support for the efficient and high-quality development of herbivorous animal husbandry in arid areas.关键词
