Abstract
Shanxi Province,leveraging the natural endowments of the cool-climate Loess Plateau,has established three major potato industry belts across the Yanmen Pass,Taihang Mountains,and Luliang Mountains regions.With a stable planting area of approximately 160 000 ha,a well-developed seed potato propagation system,and competitive processed products such as frozen French fries,the industry demonstrates strong overall momentum.However,it still faces several constraints,including yields below the national average,a low proportion of deep processing,lagging storage infrastructure,weak regional brand influence,and underdeveloped benefit-sharing mechanisms.Guided by the approach of"stabilizing acreage,raising per-unit yield,strengthening processing capacity,and building strong brands",this study proposes development mechanisms and optimization strategies—including reinforcing seed potato propagation system,establishing high-standard production bases,addressing deficiencies in processing and storage infrastructure,cultivating regional public brands,and innovating benefit linkage mechanisms.These measures aim to elevate Shanxi's potato industry to the national forefront,consolidate the foundation of food security,and increase farmers'incomes in producing areas.关键词
