Abstract
Insulin Glargine and Lixisenatide injection(iGlarLixi)synergizes the effectiveness of various pathophysiological mechanisms that lead to hyperglycemia,effectively improving glycemic control.Compared with multiple insulin injection regimens,iGlarLixi reduces the risk of hypoglycemia and has less impact on body weight.The once-daily dosing frequency enhances treatment adherence.Therefore,initiating iGlarLixi at a proper time is an effective strategy for optimizing glycemic control.This article,based on the evidence of iGlarLixi in the treatment of type 2 diabetes,provides recommendations for the applicable population of iGlarLixi,as well as dosage settings for initiating or switching to iGlarLixi in different treatment scenarios;meanwhile,it proposes precautions for special populations such as the elderly and the patients with liver and kidney dysfunction.关键词
