中医药干预JAK/STAT信号通路治疗动脉粥样硬化研究现状
Research status of traditional Chinese medicine intervention in JAK/STAT signaling pathway for treatment of atherosclerosis

Abstract
Atherosclerosis(AS)is a chronic inflammatory dis-ease characterized by imbalanced lipid metabolism and large ar-tery calcification,and its prevalence and mortality are still on the rise.The Janus kinase(JAK)/signal transducer and activa-tor of transcription(STAT)signaling pathway is closely associ-ated with the occurrence and development of AS.This paper re-views the pathological mechanism by which phosphorylation of this signaling pathway triggers inflammatory responses,oxida-tive stress,and reduces autophagy,resulting in vascular endo-thelial injury and accelerated progression of AS.Based on exist-ing literature,it is summarized that natural active components of traditional Chinese medicine(such as flavonoids,alkaloids,and polyphenols)can delay the progression of AS by inhibiting the JAK/STAT signaling pathway,regulating inflammation,oxi-dative stress,and plaque stability.Meanwhile,it is discussed that traditional Chinese medicine compound prescriptions exert anti-atherosclerotic effects by regulating the phosphorylation of JAK/STAT,downregulating pro-inflammatory factors such as tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-6(IL-6),re-ducing foam cell formation and lipid deposition,and ameliorat-ing vascular endothelial damage.In addition,the potential and limitations of traditional Chinese medicine active components and compound prescriptions in clinical application are re-viewed.These studies provide a research direction for the devel-opment of clinical drugs with traditional Chinese medicine ac-tive components as key ingredients,and also lay a solid theoreti-cal foundation for the prevention and treatment of AS.关键词
