Exploration on central regulatory function of Chong meridian
摘要
Abstract
This paper conducts a systematic investigation into the core regulatory functions of the Chong meridian in the human body.Research indicates that the Chong meridian receives and distributes original qi,dominates the generation and movement of pectoral qi,nutrient qi and defensive qi,and genuine qi.The Chong meridian connects acupuncture points from different sources and plays a pivotal role in regulating qi movement across various meridians and collaterals as well as zang-fu organs patterns.It elucidates the important connotation of the Chong meridian'seeping into all yang and irrigating all essences',indicating that the Chong meridian serves as the central hub of life activities,harmonizing yin and yang,distributing qi and blood,and coordinating qi movement,thereby integrating the'zang-fu organs,meridians and collaterals,body orifices'into a closely connected whole.This study provides a reference for understanding the unique value of the Chong meridian in traditional Chinese medicine.The article also preliminarily explores the potential correspondence between the regulatory regions responsible for the Chong meridian's function of'seeping into all yang and irrigating all essences'and structures in modern medicine such as the medulla oblongata,providing a directional reference for researching the substantial basis of the Chong meridian.关键词
