洛阳地区307例成人颏孔区解剖变异的MSCT表现分析
MSCT features of anatomical variations in mental foramen region of 307 adults in Luoyang area

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the anatomical structures of the accessory mental foramen(AMF)and anterior loop of the mandibular nerve using MSCT,aiming to provide guidance for the surgery.Methods:This retrospective study analyzed the prevalence,diameter,location,and distance from AMF to the mental foramen in 307 adult dental patients in Luoyang area.The classification of the mental nerve pathway was analyzed according to gender,left or right,and age group.The correlation between AMF diameter and the mental foramen diameter was also evaluated.Results:AMF was primarily located distoinferior to the ipsilateral mental foramen and apical to the second premolar root,with an incidence of 11.1%.The average diameters of AMF and the ipsilateral mental foramen were(0.79±0.20)and(2.14±0.43)mm,respectively.The ipsilateral mental foramen diameter correlated significantly with the contralateral side(r=0.562,P=0.001).The distance from AMF to the ipsilateral mental foramen ranged from 2.7-8.7 mm,with an average of(4.83±1.43)mm.Among the mental nerve pathways,type Ⅲ accounted for the highest proportion,at 46.3%(218/614).44.6%(137/307)on the right side were type Ⅱ and 63.5%(197/307)on the left side were type Ⅲ(P<0.001).Conclusions:Significant anatomical variations exist in the mental foramen region.MSCT-based analysis of these variations provides critical guidance for clinical surgery.关键词
