中药饲料添加剂对生猪生长性能、胴体品质和肉品质的影响
Effects of Chinese herbal feed additives on growth performance,carcass traits,and meat quality in pigs

Abstract
Under the background of China's comprehensive ban on antibiotic growth promoters in feed,Chinese herbal feed additives have emerged as a safe and green alternative,with increasingly prominent application value in pig production.This paper systematically reviewed the effects and mechanisms of Chinese herbal feed additives on the growth performance,carcass traits,and meat quality of weaned piglets and growing-finishing pigs.In weaned piglets,Chinese herbal feed additives can significantly increase average daily gain,reduce feed-to-gain ratio and diarrhea rate,and effectively alleviate weaning stress,with synergistic effects observed when combined with probiotics or subjected to fermentation.In growing-finishing pigs,these additives can consistently improve daily gain and feed conversion efficiency without the risk of drug residues.Regarding carcass traits,Chinese herbal additives can regulate lipid and protein metabolism,significantly increase loin eye area,and optimize carcass composition.In terms of meat quality,their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities contributed to maintaining meat color stability,increasing total muscle protein and flavor-enhancing amino acid content,and enhancing muscle antioxidant capacity,thereby improving the nutritional value and palatability of pork.The underlying mechanisms involved multi-target synergistic actions,including modulation of intestinal microecology and barrier function,promotion of digestion and absorption,and regulation of immune and antioxidant pathways.Current challenges for Chinese herbal feed additives included insufficient standardization of formulations,unclear mechanisms,and the need for optimization of compatibility,and cost-effectiveness.Future research should promote process standardization and precise application,and provide technological support for the industrial adoption of Chinese herbal additives in green and healthy livestock production.关键词
