Abstract
Objective To investigate the association between the serum uric acid to high density lipoprotein-cholesterol ratio(UHR)and the risk of intracranial aneurysm(IA).Methods A case-control cross-sectional design was adopted.A total of 201 inpatients from Department of Neurosurgery,the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from January to September 2025 were selected as research subjects.They were divided into IA group(n=104)and non-IA group(n=97)based on whether they had IA.Furthermore,they were further divided into four groups(Q1-Q4)based on the quartiles of UHR for stratified analysis.The demographic characteristics,lifestyle and laboratory indicators of the patients were collected.Logistic regression model was performed to assess the association between UHR and IA.The dose-response relationship was analyzed by restricted cubic spline(RCS),and the discriminant ability of the model was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.Results In model 3,UHR was positively correlated with the risk of IA(P<0.05).When UHR was analyzed by quartiles,compared with Q1 group,the risk of IA was increased in Q2 group(P<0.05),while no statistically significant difference was observed in Q3 group(P>0.05),and Q4 group showed a borderline association.ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve increased from 0.541 to 0.712.RCS analysis did not indicate a significant nonlinear association.Conclusion Higher UHR is associated with an increased risk of IA and may serve as an auxiliary indicator for risk assessment.关键词
