摘要
Abstract
Objective:To observe and analyze the impact of minimally invasive tooth extraction on facial swelling, pain, and satisfaction in patients with mandibular low impacted teeth.Method:A total of 80 patients with mandibular impacted teeth admitted to the Sanming Second Hospital from January to August 2025 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into two groups of 40 each using a random number table method. The study group received minimally invasive tooth extraction treatment, while the control group received traditional bone chiseling and splitting method treatment. The degree of facial swelling and pain scores immediately after surgery,as well as on postoperative day 1,3,and 5 were compared between two groups. The severity of symptoms at 3 months after surgery to assess patient satisfaction with tooth extraction treatment was evaluated.Result:There were no significant differences in the degree of facial swelling and pain score immediately after surgery(P>0.05).At 1 day,3 days, and 5 days after the operation, the immediate facial swelling degree and pain scores of both groups were significantly lower than those immediately after the operation, and the scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group in all aspects. The scores of symptom severity in the study group and the total score at 3 months after the operation were lower than those of the control group. The satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the above differences were all statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Minimally invasive tooth extraction surgery can significantly reduce facial swelling and pain, improve patient satisfaction with mandibular impacted teeth.关键词
