《山海经》在英语世界的跨媒介翻译传播研究
Study on Transmedia Translation and Dissemination of Shan Hai Jing in the English-Speaking World
摘要
Abstract
As the repository of ancient Chinese mythology,Shan Hai Jing has experienced a translation and dissemination process in the English-speaking world that is far more than a simple textual conversion.It represents a dynamic,ongoing process of transmedia translation and dissemination involving multiple participants,which can be specifically categorized into transmedia translation and transmedia dissemination practices.Research indicates that:its transmedia translation practice exhibits a clear evolution from scholarly annotation to narrativized,multimodal translation,laying the groundwork for its subsequent transmedia dissemination;through diverse transmedia dissemination practices—including film adaptations,stage performances,games,picture books,and technological applications—the mythological elements from Shan Hai Jing are continually extracted and transformed,ultimately forming an ever-expanding system of meaning reproduction within the English-speaking world.The synergistic effect generated by these two transmedia practices has jointly shaped a"spectacularized"and pluralistic landscape for Shan Hai Jing in the English-speaking world.关键词
