Reform and exploration of the assessment model for the"instrumental analysis"course in the AI era:focusing on video creation and mutual evaluation mechanism

Abstract
In response to the widespread adoption of generative artificial intelligence(AI)technology,which has significantly undermined the discriminative power and integrity of traditional course paper assessments,this study proposes an innovative assessment reform for the"Instrumental Analysis"course.Given its abstract theoretical content,dense knowledge points,and strong practical relevance,the reform replaces conventional essays with a"short video creation+dual evaluation feedback"approach.Piloted with the 2023"Strong Foundation Program"class at Nankai University,this model effectively mitigates assessment distortion risks in the AI era while enhancing teaching outcomes through"promoting learning via creation and improving quality through evaluation".Additionally,it offers a replicable and scalable framework for assessment reform in science and engineering courses.关键词
