期刊以传播新理论、新技术，探讨高速铁路发展中的理论与实践问题为导向，坚持理论与实践、引进与创新相结合的方针，努力反映高速铁路规划与设计、运营与管理，高速铁路设备及铁路工程等方面的最新成果，促进国际间的学术交流与合作，为提升我国高速铁路事业的国际影响力，促进世界高速铁路技术的发展服务。

Geohazard Mechanics 主要发表冲击地压、岩爆、瓦斯突出、突水、冒顶、崩塌、泥石流、滑坡、矿震、地震等重大自然和工程岩土灾变力学研究成果，是一本从力学角度研究岩土灾害发生机理、危险评价、监测预警、减灾防治的专业国际杂志。岩土灾变力学相关的新理论、新技术、新方法等研究成果，都是Geohazard Mechanics 积极推荐优先发表的。Geohazard Mechanics 还鼓励发表自然和工程岩土灾害典型案例成果，以便总结经验教训，对岩土灾害认识、源头治理、防灾减灾、应急救援等提供指导。

Railway Sciences主要刊载关于铁路工程规划设计与施工建设、机车车辆、通信信号、轮轨关系，以及高速铁路成套技术设备与系统等铁路高科技创新领域的前沿性、原创性高水平文章，旨在促进国际铁路高端技术与先进管理领域同行之间的学术讨论与技术交流。
