摘要

Abstract

The scavenging ability on ROS of lycopene and VE was evaluated by means of chemiluminescence in models for generation of superoxide anions, hydroxyl radicals, and lipid peroxidation. The changes of antioxidant behaviors with time and concentration were investigated and compared. The efficient concentration ( EC50) of lycopene towards superoxide anions, hydroxyl radicals, lipid peroxidation and was 0.75mg/ml ,0.05mg/ml and 0.1 mg/ml,respectively .The required time was 6 second,6 second and 24 second,respectively. VE was not an effective scavenger towards superoxide anions. EC50 of VE towards hydroxyl radicals and lipid peroxidation was 0.1mg/ml and 0.1mg/ml.The required time was 6 second and 24 second,respectively.
