摘要

Abstract

Hydrogen peroxide is an important inorganic and fine chemical product.As an oxidizer,bleach and disinfectant,hydrogen peroxide is widely used in the chemical,textile,papermaking,food,medical,electronic and environmental protection industries.Food grade hydrogen peroxide is purified by removing the harmful elements and heavy metals.It is a safe and green disinfectant.Because it has a broad spectrum of use,its highly efficiency,nontoxic and leaves no residue,it is being used more and more widely in the food industry in purified water,mineral water,dairy products,beverages,aquatic products,fruits,vegetables and beers.This article introduces the characteristics and sterilization mechanism of hydrogen peroxide;the paper also summarizes the testing methods and toxicity of food grade hydrogen peroxide,its application and prospects in food industry.
