摘要

Abstract

Polysaccharides of edible algae attracted extensive interest, due to their numerous biological activities.Sulphated polysaccharides (fucoidan, sulphated galactose, sulphated galactofucan, sulphated polymannuroguluronate) which were extracted from marine algae exhibit high biological activities, such as anticancer, anti- inflammatory, virucidal activity, antioxidant activity, anti- asthmatic effect, immunomodulating activity and anticoagulant activity, and so on.The advancement of the functional properties of polysaccharides were reviewed.
