摘要

Abstract

Alginate production process history has been longer than 80 years However, it has a lot of technical problems such as large water consumption, high energy cost and environmental pollution. New technology using chitosan as a flocculate was adopted to improve the traditional alginate processing technology One-factor -at -a-time method was applied to analyse the optimal amount of chitosan in different dilutions, and the difficulty of filtration was compared The results indicated that when dilution ratio was 80,90,100,120 respectively ,the optimal amount of chitosan was 15, 15, 12.5, 7.5ppm. and the yield rate of alginate had increased 1.908%, 2.08%, 2.036%, 1.677%respectively, In addition ,the new alginate processing technology was established by applying 12.5ppm of chitosan when the dilution ratio was 100, by which the yield rate of alginate increased 2.143% and the usage of water decreased 167% comparing With those under the traditional technologies.
