Abstract
Synthesis of isoamyl isobutyrate from isobutyric acid and isoamyl alcohol by cation exchange resin ( NKC -9) was studied.The effects of reaction conditions such as mole ratio of isoamyl alcohol to isobutyric acid, NKC - 9 catalyst dosage and reaction time were examined.The optimum reaction conditions were: mole ratio of n ( isoamyl alcohol): n ( isobutyric acid) = 2.0: 1; cation exchange resin ( NKC - 9) as catalyst dosage at 5.0% of the total mass of isobutyric acid and isoamyl alcohol; mass ratio of m (toluene) : m ( isobutyric acid) = 1.9: 1; reaction temperature, ≤125℃; reaction time, 3.5 h.Under the above conditions, the conversion rate of isobutyric acid was up to 99.3%.The activity of the catalyst was still 96.7% after its being used for 5 times.关键词
