Effect of Surfactants and Oxygen Carriers on Elastase Production by Bacillus Licheniformis ZJUEL31410
摘要
Abstract
In order to research the effect of surfactants and oxygen vectors on elastase produced by Bacillus licheniformis ZJUEL31410, different concentration of oleic acid, liquid paraffin, ethyl acetate, Tween 80 and dodecane on elastase production, biomass, reducing sugar consumption were investigated in this study.It was found that when concentration of Tween 80 is 4％, the elastase activity reached 515 U/mL, while other additives showed less positive effect.The addition time of Tween 80 was also studied in this work using 5 L fermentor.Results showed that Tween 80 added at the beginning of fermentation had a better effect on elastase production.Based on the analysis of morphological changes,Tween 80 can enhance cell membrane permeability, which made more dissolved oxygen into the cells, thereby promoting the synthesis of elastase.关键词
