Studies on the Antioxidative Effects of Pleurotus nebrodensis Exopolysaccharide

摘要

Abstract

The antioxidant activity of the exopolysaccharide from Pleurotus nebrodensis was studied in vivo and vitro. The results showed that comparing with contrast, the exopolysaccharide of Pleurotus nebrodensis had the ability of defending against free radical , inhibiting the generation of MDA and decreasing the swelling of mitochondria by· OH. The exopolysaccharide could obviously strengthen the activities of SOD, GSH-PX and CAT in blood and liver tissue, reduce the content of MDA. These results suggested that exopolysaccharide from Pleurotus nebrodensis liquid fermentation had bioactivities.
