Abstract
No-cook process for sweet potato ethanol productionAbstract; Initial investigation on no-cooking Etha-nol fermentation using fresh sweet potato as feedstock was conducted. The performance of no-cooking process was competitive either with conventional high temperature cooking SSF process or 85℃ cooking SSF process. The viscosity of raw sweet potato mash was much lower than both conventional and 85℃ cooked SSF process. The addition of 0.05% (w/w) cellulase、pectinase and protease also enhanced the sweet potato ethanol fermentation.关键词
