摘要

Abstract

Objective:The antimicrobial activities of the methanol extract from roots of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.was studied.Method:Antimicrobial activity was evaluated using the Oxford cup method and 96-well plates to measure the size of the zone of inhibition,minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC).Result:The results showed that the methanol extract from roots of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge.was active against all tested microbial species. Conclusion; The Staphylococcus epidermidis was best inhibited by the methanol extract The extract had potential utilities as a natural antibacterial substance, and it was of worth for further study.
