摘要

Abstract

In this study, supercritical CO2 extraction was used to extract chlorella essential oil and lutein. The antioxidant activities (including the reducing power and DPPH radical scavenging ability) of the essential oil and lutein were compared. Besides, the content and the antioxidant activity of unsaturated fatty acids were determined by GC-MS. Results showed that essential oil extracted by supercritical CO2 and purified crystal lutein has excellent anti-oxidant activity. Purified crystal lutein exhibited higher total reducing power than oil, but lower the DPPH radical scavenging rate. It was also found that chlorella essential oils were rich in unsaturated fatty acids which have cooperative antioxidation.
