Abstract

Response surface methodology (RSM) was used to optimize the medium for bacteriostasis by Trichoderma Viride Pers. ex Fr. With several plant pathogens as the tested strains, the inhibitory rate was determined by using confront culture method. According to the single-factor experiments, three factors (glucose addition, alanine addition and KH2PO4 addition) were selected for the central composite designed to establish a quadric regression equation. RSM was employed to optimize. The results showed that the best carbon source, nitrogen source, phosphorus source and their optimum content were glucose 2.18%, alanine 0.15% and KH2PO4 0.3%. Under these conditions, the inhibitory rate of T. Viride against Colletotrichum magiferae P. Henn., Colletotrichum gfoeosporioides Penz. and Fusarium oxysporum Schlecht. reached to 82.29%, 78.43% and 71.63% respectively. Therefore, T. Viride could inhibit the growth of several plant pathogens significantly. And medium have influence on its bacteriostatic ability.
