Abstract
In order to improve Q value of RF multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC), NPO ceramic powder, Ag/Pd internal electrode paste and Ag termination paste were adopted to prepare MLCCs. The effects of design and process on inherent parasitic parameters of prepared MLCC such as Rs and Ls were studied. The results show that special design can reduce resistance of internal electrode and contact resistance between internal electrodes and termination electrodes. Proper thickness of internal electrode insures good continuity of internal electrode after sintering. Reasonable tumbling and term-firing process insure good contact between internal and termination electrodes. Such design and process effectively reduce Rs and Ls of MLCC, hence improve Q value and application frequency of samples.关键词
