Design program for quartz crystal resonators with the consideration of piezoelectric effect with Mindlin plate theory
摘要
Abstract
An novel and integrated program based on Mindlin plate theory for the analysis and design of AT-cut quartz crystal resonators was presented. The program includes how to determine the optimal size of crystal plate and the configuration of electrode and capacitance ratio according to known parameters such as resonator frequency, thickness of electrode and so on. The figures of dispersion relations, frequency spectra, frequency-temperature relation, and relation of capacitance ratio and frequency can be obtained by using the program, which can provide essential reference on the design of resonators. All the analyses with consideration of piezoelectric effects and giving the capacitance ratio can improve the accuracy of these device performance parameters. The using of the program can avoid time-consuming trial and iteration steps in the process of the resonator design.关键词
